Highly recommend this tour company. Most importantly, super easy comms with Ethar on Whatsapp before, after and during, was so great to know she was available to help me with anything during my week in Jordan. She really made me feel welcome in Jordan. I had already booked a week in Aqaba, and Why Jordan made it easy to arrange a driver from Aqaba to Petra, overnight in Petra + an 8 hour horseback and hike through Petra to Aaron's tomb. the lunch in the desert with Sultan was incredible, and the driver Abed was also a great representative of Jordanian hospitality, full of great conversation and got me to Petra by Night on time ! Just great customer service throughout, would definitely use Why Jordan again for next trip!

What an amazing trip to Petra and Wadi Ram. Thankyou Hamza (driver) Hassan (guide Petra) and Mohammed (Guide and Chef Wadi Ram) for adding to our wonderful experience in Jordan. All three were excellent and were all booked through “Why Jordan Tours”!! Everything was so well organized, always on time, extremely friendly and hospitable, excellent driver, amazing guides who made part of this trip so memorable. In May 2023 we had a wonderful 8-days tour in Giordani visiting Amman, Jerash, Monte Nebo, Petra, Wadi Rum desert (Bedouin lunch in the desert), Aqaba and Dead Sea. Everything has been well organized (special thanks to Ginan), and we could really enjoy the vacation being always accompanied and supported in our travels by a good driver. To be done at least once in the life!

We just recently returned from a 3 day tour with Why Jordan Tours (booked through Desert Eco but we realize it was really Why Jordan that provided all of the services.) We can’t say enough about our time in Jordan!! The Jordanian people were all so friendly and hospitable. Mais was our tour guide in Petra; she was wonderful - so friendly and knowledgeable! She also did a great job of “protecting” us from everyone trying to sell us (donkey rides, camel rides, access to certain viewpoints) without offending them! She really made the day in Petra even more special. Ali and Osama were also amazing. Ali guided us through a phenomenal tour of the Wadi Missa Canyons near the Dead Sea. He was a wealth of information about Jordan - including its people, culture and history. He also prepared a delicious lunch including Turkish coffee. Osama guided us on our magical day in Wadi Rum. This involved rock climbing up to the Jebel Burdah Rock Bridge - a bit challenging but made possible by Osama's excellent advice of exactly where to put our hands and feet to most efficiently make the climb. Following the exhilarating hike, he prepared a yummy hot lunch for us. We would absolutely recommend Why Jordan Tours to anyone interested in exploring Jordan. Additionally, we'll definitely hire them again on our next trip to Jordan - hopefully soon!!!

Unforgettable Jordan

After a bumpy start, our 8 days' roundtrip in Jordan can be considered as perfect!!!! Obviously, PETRA remains unforgettable, but I have been very much impressed by Jerash. In any case, the whole trip was well organized, with our driver taking care of us. We further had a guide for every historical site we went to. Great journey which none of us will ever forget.

A Fascinating Trip to Jordan

Our tour was custom made for us through very helpful email communication with Why Jordan. We were in a private car with a driver, Abad, and a guide Ramiz, both of whom were hugely informative about not only the sights we saw but made sense of it all for us through sharing historical knowledge in a fascinating way. We went to Amman, Um Cais, Jerash, desert castles, Mount Nebo, Madaba, Petra and Wadi Rum. Everything was perfect. We stayed in two hotels, La lconda in Amman, and Hayat Zaman near Petra. Both were 5 stars in quality but unique in experience. La lconda is a sophisticated city hotel with each room named after a famous Jordanian musician. It has a lovely restaurant attached. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Hayat Zaman was constructed from a 19th century village. Lovely stone walls and beautiful rooms. What made the trip for us were our two companions, Abad and Ramiz, who helped us understand Jordan. We would recommend Why Jordan Tours extremely highly both for the organization and the experience of the tour.
